What does Fertility & Pregnancy Loss Counselling look like?

What types of Therapy do you offer for Pregnancy Loss & Fertility Support?

We offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Brainspotting, Trauma-Informed Therapy, and Supportive Counselling. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): CBT helps you identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to stress and anxiety. By developing healthier ways of thinking and coping, you can better manage the emotional toll of fertility challenges and/or pregnancy loss events. Mindfulness-Based Therapy: Mindfulness practices can help you stay present and reduce the stress associated with uncertainty and waiting. This therapy encourages a non-judgmental awareness of your thoughts and emotions, promoting a sense of calm and acceptance. Brainspotting Therapy: This form of therapy is mindfulness++, where, by being connected to the dysregulation that your lived experiences have caused and simultaneously staying mindful of how this feels for you, moment-to-moment, your body naturally releases and heals from past events, giving you a newfound sense of regulation where once you felt much less regulated or balanced. Supportive Counselling: This form of therapy provides a space for you to express your feelings and concerns in order to tell your story. Our therapists offer empathy, understanding, and practical advice to help you navigate the emotional landscape of fertility issues.
